Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, staff, and friends created the

Peace Corps Alumni Foundation
for Philippine Development in 1983 as a way to continue their commitment to the social and economic development of the Philippines.

The Foundation provides scholarships for Filipino students who need financial assistance to realize their dreams of attending college in the Philippines. Over the years, more than 120 scholarship recipients have completed their studies in fields ranging from engineering and architecture to midwifery and community development.
